Giulia Barela Jewelry’s creations are wearable sculptures created in her atelier in Rome. An exquisite blend of artistic research, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary experimentation that shines through each creation. The Hooked earrings, created with the intent to express powerful feelings, have a design reminiscent of a snake coming down the ears. It stands as a visual reminder of the wearer’s personal experiences.

Designed and sculpted by the designer herself, each piece is handmade in Italy using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The jewelry is crafted in 24 carat gold plated bronze, or 925 silver.

Loss of patina is a normal phenomenon resulting from wear and tear.
We recommend:
– removing your jewelry when you are sleeping, swimming, or participating in sporting activities. We also recommend to avoid contact with perfume and make-up.
– cleaning your jewelry with a special cloth, rubbing gently.
– storing your jewelry separately, in a closed soft bag.
